When breeding or purchasing a Cleveland Bay Purebred, Partbred or Sporthorse – please ensure
that you check the Registration/License status of the horse, as it can be very disappointing to
discover that your foal/horse may not have the appropriate paperwork, which can limit your
showing/competiing options considerably without official CBHSA proof of breeding.
We encourage you to contact the CBHSA Registrar should you wish to make enquiries as to the
status of the horse in question.
