Adelaide Royal Show

12th September 2009, Wayville Showgrounds, Adelaide, SA

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Lisa Hosking and Sandgate Supernova on being presented with
RESERVE CHAMPION WARMBLOOD MARE or FILLY at the
2009 Adelaide Royal Show!
Lisa Hosking and her lovely young mare, Sandgate Supernova, a 50% Cleveland Bay, 50%
Thoroughbred, were the only Cleveland Bay or Cleveland Bay Sporthorses to be entered in
the Led Warmblood Class at the Adelaide Royal Show.
In South Australia, the Clevelands are allowed to show against the Warmbloods in many
shows, so we are competing against Holsteiners,
Hanoverians, Trakheners, Oldenburgs - if its a
Warmblood - its in the ring with the Clevelands!

Lisa and "Lara" as she is known at home, went in
for the Led Warmblood Mare class and WON it,
which of course entitled them to head in for
Champion and Reserve Champion Led
Warmblood.
Here is what Lisa had to say about her day:

"Lara and I competed in the Led Warmblood Mare class and came out with
a first and then we had to go in for Champion and Reserve Led Warmblood
Mare or Filly and came out with the reserve champion!!!!!!!
I was so proud of Lara, all I was hoping for was that she behaved well, which she did; she had impeccable manners and was so well
behaved. It was really windy too so that made me even prouder that she would act so calmly while other horses were losing the plot.
Must have been the clevey coming through lol.

So when I went in and got awarded the first I was over the moon, but then to go on and win the Reserve was absolutely
fantastic!!!!!!!!!!

I am so proud of her and I still can’t believe that she won both of the ribbons; it hasn’t quite sunk in yet.

I have attached a few photos for you to see as well. She looks pretty good now compared to what she was a few days ago; she had a
beard longer than a wizards and whiskers to match lol

Anyway I am definitely an extremely proud Cleveland owner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lisa"
