| The Royal Adelaide Show Breed Day was on the 20th of August 2011. The breed day was brought forward due to the issues arising with the breeds and hacks being on at the same time and stabling being a bit of a nightmare. The Cleveland Bays show in the Warmblood Ring at the Royal Adelaide Show... boy was there some competition! There were 4 Cleveland Bay Sporthorses entered – all of whom are lovely examples of the breed and they The Cleveland Bay Performances for the day were: 2yrs and Under Warmblood Filly: 1st: CM Independant Miss & Nikki Chadburn (Lyndsworth Lodge & CM Sporthorses) 3yrs and Over Warmblood Mare: 2nd: Ballantyne Auburn & Elle Missen (Ballantyne Stud, Teresa Taylor) Competed well: Sandgate Supanova & Lisa Hosking Reserve Champion Warmblood Female: CM Independant Miss 2yrs and Under Warmblood Gelding: 2nd: CM Desert Dreams & Paige Lovell Best Performed Cleveland Bay Of The Day, and recipient of $75 and a trophy (sponsored by the CBHSA and the SA Cleveland Bay members): CM Independant Miss A huge congratulations to all those who went and competed! It is fantastic to see the horses getting out and about! It is fantastic to see the Cleveland Bays getting recognition across the state, and they are receiving some great comments from spectators, fellow competitors in other rings as well as the Judges! |
